MOLOC consists in designing a new low-carbon urban model, to test and to bring out innovative solutions and methods.

The project focuses on the constraints that limit the impact of local policies and actions in the area of energy transition and urban planning.

A series of interregional meetings will allow cities to exchange best practices on their low-carbon strategies. As well, the organisation of 5 study tours will focus on implementation activities and involvement of local stakeholders.

A comparative analysis will provide an overview of the state of the art in all partner cities and a set of recommendations will be delivered in order for partner cities to shape their action plan and ameliorate specific local policies.

What is Energy Cities doing for MOLOC?

Energy Cities is providing support and assistance to project partners on the exchange of methodologies and know-how. Energy Cities is also working on the case studies methodological framework and feed the process of reflection on potential solutions but also on any relevant topics during the project.
