Energy Cities' Annual Conference #mayors2015 - How is your city shifting to a new economy?

By Floriane Cappelletti on 26 February 2015

At Energy Cities’ Annual Conference, local leaders and experts from cities and other organisations of all over Europe will take time to discuss the link between energy transition and local development.

In the session called "Shifting to a new economy", you will get the opportunity to exchange with local representatives from the Energy Cities network, in smaller working groups.

Urban agriculture, smart spaces, cooperation with SMEs... Speakers from European cities (Växjö, Porto, Almada, Lisbon, Odense, Zoetermeer...), the renewable energy crowdfunding platform Lumo and the semi-public company Energies POSIT’IF will share examples of successful energy transition projects, the new business models they are based on and their positive impact on the local economy. This session will offer a room for dialogue with the participants.

Energy Cities members: You are warmly invited to tell us about your own successful energy transition project and to come present it in Aberdeen! Please get in touch with Laura Guérin at laura.guerin[at]energy-cities.eu
