LIVING AND WORKING IN BESANCON

Besançon is placed in the North-East of France, 2h30 by TGV from Paris and Lyon, and 2h30 by car from Geneva.

The lively city offers a great quality of life, with a large cultural offer (opera, theatre, contemporary and street art, concerts, movies...). The historic city center is overtopped by an impressive citadel built by famous architect Vauban. With its shops, café terraces, restaurants and parks, the city is attractive for young and old. Much of the trips can easily be done walking or cycling.

The surrounding hills, wineyards, lakes and nearby mountains (Vosges, Jura, Alps) are a paradise for outdoor fans. Its foreign students provide Besançon with a cosmopolitan caracter.
